Could we live without screens? A workshop to question our habits and reconnect with slow language - Madrid April 18th
Can we imagine living without screens? What do they give us, and what do they take away? What is our relationship with them - intimate, addictive, comforting, overwhelming? In my next writing workshop, I propose to explore the place of screens in our lives. Through guided prompts and short texts, we’ll write to, against, and around our screens, question their desirability and dig deeper into our habits. A space to slow down, to reconnect with language, and to find our way back - one line at a time.
Along the way, we'll read texts from Camille Lacadée (FR) and Edgar Kosma (BEL) and Brian Bilston (UK).
Saturday 18 April 2-5pm @ Desperate Literature bookshop, Calle de la Cava Baja 6 (metro La Latina)
